About
Women’s Voice Organization (WVO) is a non- governmental, non-partisan, non-political, non- profit, impartial, voluntary organization operating in Afghanistan and its environs. The Women’s Voice Organization (WVO) was established in June 2019 and is registered as a Non- Governmental Organization whose aims are to Alleviate Poverty, Promote Good Governance, peaceful and secure societies and Access to Public Education. The organization is registered with the Ministry of Economy (MoEC) under the license #: 4881. The formation of WVO was informed by the need to improve the risk awareness, peace building conflict resolution and prevention of violent extremist and other challenges of socio-economic conditions of the disadvantaged communities members with particular emphasis on youth and villages residents to alleviate the suffering which was on its peak at that time as a result of frequent insecurity shocks and natural disasters and lack of awareness. The NGO also sought to accelerate development of the rural urban poor areas, reduce poverty, morbidity and mortality rates of women and children. WVO has its office in Kabul and sub-offices in other provinces when there are active projects in the areas. It has continued to work with the poor and the less fortunate groups in Afghanistan and has since gained substantial experience in community development programs, while at the same time building good working relationship with local communities and. WVO has ensured internal growth by incorporating lessons learnt and emerging issues. Over the years, undergone transformative restructuring to respond to emerging challenges on the ground and in technical needs to better its capacity.
Our Mission
WVO’s mission is to reduce risk vulnerability through provision of training social services, community capacity enhancement, and protection of vulnerable groups and promotion of sustainable peace through collaborative action.
Our Plan
The overall goal of WVO is to improve Women and Youth Civic education, Prevention of violence extremist, Environmental Protection and Sanitation, Livelihoods, Counseling Services, Peace building and Conflict Resolution in the entire community members in Afghanistan

Our vision is an informed and developed women, youth and entire community that has the necessary resilience to withstand periodic shocks due to conflict drought, poverty, social excesses, fear related insecurity and other humanitarian emergencies.
